Amazing meal Went for lunch on a Sunday, sat outside on the deck.First time here, will not be the last. My husband had the pan fried Haddock and said it was cooked to perfection and large portion size. I had the chicken club sandwich that has also on it,bacon and tomato...excellent! I had the side caesar.salaf..omg...best caesar salad in a very long time..stupendous! Our waiter was a nice young man, friendly and efficient! Cannot wait to go back...we will do the 1 hour drive...this place is that good!!!

Terrific service and great food Decided to break out of the COVID stay-home and travel a couple of hours to a recommended pub - and it was well worth it! All safety protocols in place and staff and patrons alike adhere to the facemasks/distancing/sanitizing rules. Made for a comfortable atmosphere for our supper. The seafood linguine and lobster roll choices were perfect! And the locally made Sober Island Brews were perfect matches to the meal! Will recommend this to friends.

Busy and good food Very busy for a lunch hour but service was ok and food great. They have gluten-free options and a smaller menu likely due to the pandemic. Some items like sweet potato fries overpriced. Biscuits arrived with odd beer molasses butter. Ok but would be nice to have regular butter as well. Garden salad excellent. They are trying to cope with the new restrictions. Have seen better and worse. Would go back.

Lobster poutine Lobster poutine ...need I say more? Food was great! Scallop fettucini , seafood chowder, and regular ol' fish and chips were all very tasty. Atmosphere cozy and service very attentive ...they even offer to take pics for you and your posse 😊

Fantastic Food and Service We were staying in Murphy’s Cove, drove to Sheet Harbour to do laundry, and stumbled on this gem. We had our small dog with us and it was a hot day. Although they do not allow pets on the deck they have a picnic table right beside it where we got full service!! Had smoked haddock fish cakes, bacon wrapped scallops, which were all fantastic but hands down the star of our meal was their chowder. And I’ve eaten chowder almost everywhere on the East Coast. My husband even hugged the chef it was so good!!! And gluten free!!! Highly recommend this place. My only regret was that we weren’t able to come back 🙂

Delicious!, but ... My husband and I were spending a few days along the Eastern Shore for part of our vacation, staying at a campground nearby. Working in the tourism industry of Nova Scotia, I had heard rave reviews about Henley House and wanted to check it out for supper. We both enjoyed our meals extensively, and it is a beautiful pub and dining room, with a great view on the water in Sheet Harbour. We loved our meal so much, we wanted to come back and try some more menu items the next day! BUT, after driving 30+ minutes to Sheet Harbour, we were shocked to find that they had changed their hours starting on Labour Day, and were now closed Monday and Tuesdays for the season. We were extremely disappointed, especially because they were not the only place that decided to change hours as of Labour Day. Only word of advice - call before you venture out to ensure that restaurants, etc. are open in this region!

Good pub food and more We stopped here for a quick lunch while on the road. The pub offered a good range of seafood and other specials as well as a brunch menu. The mussels were tasty and plentiful, the fish as chips fresh and crisp. Dining options are outdoor patio, restaurant or pub to accommodate all.
